Charlie and Leo’s Big Spring Day
Charlie and Leo are in the classroom. There is a big map on the wall. There are three pencils under Leo’s chair. Charlie is wearing a blue T-shirt and green shorts. Leo is wearing a yellow hat. They can see the sun, so they are happy. “What time is it?” asks Charlie. “It’s quarter past four,” says Leo.
After school, they are going to go to the park. Charlie is going to play football, but Leo is not going to play. He is going to draw a tree and a funny dog. They sometimes go to the café after school. They never go to the station. Today, they are going to eat sandwiches and drink water next to the fountain.
At the weekend, Charlie and Leo are going to visit the swimming pool. Leo can swim, but Charlie can’t swim fast. In the morning, they get up at eight o’clock. In the afternoon, they play games at home. In the evening, they read a comic. Charlie says, “This spring is great!” Leo says, “Yes! We are going to have fun!”
