Ya estamos preparando el nuevo curso escolar 2015 / 2016!

Parece que fue ayer, pero en Octubre vamos a iniciar nuestro noveno curso escolar, casi diez años intentando daros la mejor educación en Cancelada y recibiendo vuestro apoyo incondicional.

Este año por primera vez la academia va a estar abierta durante todo el mes de Septiembre, dejamos a Evelyn a cargo. Si tenéis alguna consulta ella puede atenderos los Martes y Jueves a partir de las seis de la tarde. Además los cursos de inglés para adultos continúan durante todo el mes de Septiembre.

En Octubre volvemos con el funcionamiento normal de la escuela. Tanto las clases de Apoyo como las de Inglés continúan en sus horarios habituales. Si deseas reservar tu plaza debes ponerte en contacto con nosotros. Puedes hacerlo mediante FaceBook, Whatsapp, email o como prefieras.

Los antiguos alumnos ya tienen su plaza reservada de antemano así que no hará falta que hagáis nada.

La escuela estará abierta en horario de mañana a partir de Lunes 28 de Septiembre para resolver todas vuestras dudas y ver los posibles cambios de horario.

B1 Essays by students – The first car

And we finally present an essay about Karl Benz, and how he invented the car.

This essay was written by Guille, and I hope you like it.

Could you imagine a world where you have to travel walking everywhere? I wouldn´t be able. 

For that reason, Karl Benz, an important german inventor, invented the first car in 1885.
130 years ago, everybody thought that it was the life, to travel walking or riding horses. Now nowbody 
can imagine their lives without a car. 
Nowadays; there are more than 1000 different cars and millions in our roads. Karl Benz 
founded the Benz´s house and patented his invention. 

He started to work selling construction materials and he got marry with Bertha Ringer. 

They had five children. 

 
 

The Benz Patent-Motorwagen, his first car, is exhibed in the Deutsches Museum in Germany now. 
He died in 1929 when he was 84 years old. 

Benz got the first driving license the 1st Agoust of 1888. 

 
 
 
 

B1 Essays by PET students – Anna Frank

This next essay is about Anna Frank, a well known survivor whose story inspired us all.

It was written by Jennifer Alcaraz.

Anna Frank was born in June 12th, 1929 in Frankfurt, Germany. It was the second daughter of Otto Frank and his wife Edith Hollander . His family fled the Nazis and move to the Netherlands in 1933 and when they were taken , she and with her family and four other people in a house in Amsterdam.

The March 12, 1945 , days before the end of the war victim died of typhus in the Bergen – Belsen.

Anna recorded her experiences and fears in a notebook with red covers . His diary, which hid during his detention, was published by her father, the only survivor of the family in 1947. Translated into over 55 languages ​​, it has been made ​​into a film , theatre , and has become a symbol of suffering low the power of the Nazis. Anna Frank has been chosen among the hundred most influential people of the twentieth century by Time magazine.

B1 – Essays by students

In the preparation for the PET exam process, it is very important that students write essays. I have instructed some students to write about people they admire, and here’s the first essay.

This great work was written by Lucía Cabrera, and it is about the music band Auryn. I hope you enjoy it!

Auryn is a Spanish boyband formed in summer 2009. The band is formed
by Alvaro Gango, Blas Cantó, Carlos Marco, Dani Fernandez y David
Lafuente. They sing in English and Spanish.

This band began to be known in 2010 when they were in a tv show called
“Destino Eurovisión” for representing Spain in Eurovision but they
finished the competition 2nd with their song “Volver”. After that, they
did not perform and they did their first album “Endless Road 7058”
they had to do this album with their money because no record company
wanted to support them because they did not belive that a boyband in
Spain would work, but they proved that they were wrong and sold a lot
of this album.

After that a very important record company; Warner Music, supported them and
they did their second album “Anti Heroes” that is on sale in 2013
and they sold more albums than the other other album and began to be
more famous.

In 2014 is on sale “Circus Avenue” and their best concert the
Circus Avenue Night because the concert was in the Palacio de Deportes
de Madrid and they sold out, this was a dream for them. This year
they travelled to Mexico, Chile and Angertina to promote there and
now they have concerts there, another dream that they have always dreamt about.

Cowboys Vs Indians or how to learn Spanish in 21 days

Western movies were a great success in the Spain of the 60’s, not in vain many of them were shot in Almeria and they were allowed on the screens, which was something new as Franco didn’t quite like foreign films. With the indians in those movies we all learnt a new way of Spanish, the indian Spanish!
