Back to School with the Twins

Leo and Mia are twins. They are seven (7). In summer, they like long sunny days.
They swim in the sea.
They build big sand castles.
They eat cold ice cream and sweet watermelon.
The air is hot and bright.

Now it is autumn and school starts. The air is cool and windy.
They wear jackets and warm socks.
They drink hot chocolate and eat apples and soup.
Leo and Mia are happy at school.
They meet friends and say hello to the teacher.
They read, draw, and play games in class.
They pack pencils, books, and a small snack.

Sharing at School

It is autumn now. The day is cool and windy. In class, there is one red toy car.
“Mine!” says Leo. “No, my turn!” says Mia.

They feel cross. They do not smile.
The teacher says, “Share, please. Take turns.”
Leo pushes the car first. One small lap.
Mia goes next. One big lap.
They laugh. “Let’s play together,” says Mia.

They make a road with blocks.
Stop and go! Fast and slow!
They both play. They both win.
At the end, they tidy the toys.
Leo and Mia say, “Sharing is fun!”
