What’s the most natural way of learning a language?
Western world has put a real emphasis on originality. However; I’ve always found funny how the Eastern world hasn’t. China, for example, has always been famous for copying and copying. Let’s find a balance between both worlds and see when originality or copies are worth doing during our learning. It doesn’t matter how, it’s just what you must do in order to succeed.
We sometimes feel the need of study, or go to the gym, or do the washing-up… but we can’t get our asses off the sofa! Yes, we are lazy monkeys, we all are sometimes. Being tired can be the result of two different things really, being truly tired or boredome. I see both in my classes. Students are sometimes tired because they haven’t got much sleep, or they’ve been working so hard they can’t even keep their eyes open. But the majority of times somebody yawns in a class I am looking at a bored person!
You may not want to recognize it, but fear is what stops you in the language class, in real life and everywhere. Fear is taking your dreams out of you, and it is a devil in disguise, as it appears not as fear, but as any excuse that will allow you to blame everything and everyone except you. Let’s face our fears for once when studying a language and let’s start doing the right things.
I have always been surprised to see the kids answering to the TV, as if they had been asked. There is a period of time in which we don’t fully recognize reality of fiction. That’s why it’s so easy to mock children with sweet little lies. As the conscious mind matures, reality is more accurately recognized, but only because or Conscious mind has evolved, not because the Dormant Giant has changed. We can use this feature of not discerning reality from fiction to our benefit while learning a language. This is the basic clue of Thinking Languages!
As in a fairy tale, our mind has a giant monster sleeping inside. We rarely see him, but when he shows up, his power is so immense, he could destroy everything around. And as in fairy tales, most of the people in the village have heard of him, but only the hero in this story, and that’s you, will battle the giant.Welcome to your subconscious mind.Publicadas las fechas de examen de las pruebas para el título de la E.S.O.
